Notes

Inspired by the 1930's still life paintings of Matisse, the bright and bold colour palette of Ella Carty's paintings appeal to the emotional senses as well as the visual.

An artist that practices spontaneity, Ella scavenges various sources from literal art history to the physical world that surrounds her, to imbue her work with sensory expression.

Her work is in private collections in Europe, The Middle East, North America and the U.K.

Ella's work Heat #1 will also be included in the Spring Auction.
